Everybody guessed it, and now it's official - MEGATRON will be returning to TRANSFORMERS 2 - and not only that, this time he's a BIG tank!

My only real gripe to the popcorn-fest that was the original Transformers movie was the very little screen time that Megatron had. Lets face it, he's supposedly the biggest and baddest transformer there is (apart from the fallen) and he got barely half an hours screen time.

Well worry ye not fanboys, because the big cheese is back, and this time he's packing!

According to CHUD:

"OK, I don’t think there’s a soul out there who will be surprised when Megatron returns in Transformers 2*. If the current incarnation of the script follows the beats of a previous incarnation (which did not feature The Fallen), Megatron may be getting brought back by the Autobots, who need him to conquer the new menace. But I’ve learned that this time he won’t be that weird alien jet. This time he’s a tank."

The general consensus (and one I tend to agree with at this point) is that the menace is 'THE FALLEN', which is basically the ultimate in evil-transformer-type-robots.
