I would say you either loved or hated Rob Zombie's remake of cult classic HALLOWEEN - but the truth is I was pretty much indifferent about the whole thing (kind of like the movie itself).
Either way, there is an update on the rumoured sequel! French directors Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo talk a bit about their involvement in Dimension Films sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween, the movie they reputedly dumped a HELLRAISER remake to direct:
"...it's a proposition we couldn't refuse,” Maury explained and added that he and Bustillo are well aware of Zombie's re-imagining of Michael Myers and they're out to put their stamp on the character, not copy what came before them. "Therefore, our vision will be done with utmost respect, with a continuity of [Zombie's] work but also a real evolution of the world he set in place."
Love it, hate it or don't give a cr*p about it, it certainly looks like Michael Myers will be knocking at someones door again sooner rather than later...
