The first pictures of Robert Downey Jr as SHERLOCK HOLMES are now online - just in case you didn't read the title.

Downey Jr was recently asked what he could bring to the part, to which he responded:

“Clearly I’m going to do it better than it’s ever been done. The more I read about it the more overwhelmed I was by the weight of it and the amount of people who will be watching to see if it’s gotten right.”

So judge for yourselves folks, does it look right? It looks a little off to me, but then this is the "modern" take on the classic character, maybe a Bowler Hat is more befitting of a boxer than a Deerstalker? Check out the pics below:
